Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IGCSE or Pearson Edexcel Coordinator to lead and oversee the academic quality, assessment standards, and implementation of the Pearson Edexcel programme. This role is pivotal in ensuring curriculum alignment, assessment integrity, and strong academic outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the effective implementation of the Pearson Edexcel programme, ensuring full syllabus coverage, curriculum alignment, and consistent academic standards across all subjects.
  • Coordinate Pearson iGCSE assessments and mock examinations, oversee internal moderation processes, and work closely with the Exams Officer to ensure compliance with Pearson Edexcel regulations and timelines.
  • Monitor student progress through data analysis, predicted grades, and performance tracking, and recommend targeted academic interventions to support student achievement.
  • Provide academic leadership and ongoing support to teachers, including guidance on assessment objectives, mark schemes, and best teaching practices within the Pearson Edexcel framework.
  • Act as the academic liaison with Pearson Edexcel International, supporting inspections, audits, and programme reviews while ensuring adherence to all academic and examination policies.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and senior leadership regarding academic expectations, subject pathways, and Pearson iGCSE outcomes.
Requirements
