A leading food distribution company in Indonesia is looking for a Marketing Specialist to drive marketing efforts across multiple channels. The role involves planning local activations, developing marketing communications, and ensuring brand consistency. Candidates should have at least 5 years of marketing experience in FMCG or related fields, strong project management skills, and proficiency in English and Indonesian. This position offers a collaborative work environment focused on results and creativity.
This role will work with multi-functional teams in planning, execution and optimization of all cross‑channel marketing efforts for Indonesia market.
1. Marketing Activation & Events
Conceptualize, plan, and coordinate local marketing activations, trade shows (e.g., FIA), Innovation Days, sampling programs, and other field marketing events.
Manage event logistics, branding materials, and on‑site execution to ensure high‑quality brand representation.
2. Brand & Communication
Develop and execute local marketing plans and campaigns that align with DPO’s regional strategy.
Create and localize marketing communication assets, POSM, and sales enablement materials to support all divisions.
Adapt brand messaging and visual identity for relevance in the Indonesian market.
Plan and execute content calendars, thematic campaigns, influencer and media collaborations, and community partnerships.
Manage local social media platforms to build brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
Support e‑commerce marketing and digital shopper strategies to drive online exposure and sales performance.
Support customer acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives such as EDMs, live shows, and community programs.
Ensure a consistent and positive brand experience across all customer touchpoints.
5. Market Insights & Reporting
Provide local market perspectives, including customer insights, competitive analysis, and brand positioning opportunities.
Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, marketing ROI, and market trends.
Manage marketing budgets effectively to ensure timely and on‑plan delivery of outcomes.
Work closely with cross‑functional teams — including Brand Communications, Creative, Sales, Digital and agencies — to ensure cohesive and effective campaign delivery.
Support ad‑hoc marketing initiatives as assigned by the Regional Marketing team.
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in Marketing or equivalent.
At least 5 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in FMCG, retail, or food industry.
Required language(s): English, Indonesian
Strong sense of ownership and an entrepreneurial spirit
Hands‑on experience with digital and social media marketing, event coordination, and content creation.
