About the role

Join PT Glico Indonesia, a leading manufacturer and distributor of food products in Indonesia, as a Logistic Specialist. In this full-time role based in Karawang, West Java, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's logistics operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective product distribution.

What you'll be doing

• Schedule FG or Finished Goods movements from supply sources (GMI, ports), inter-Distribution Center and Warehouse stock transfer to customers; plan and organize fleet, truck routes, and dispatching for transportation logistics providers.
• Assist the Logistics Manager and Demand Planner in determining inventory management and stocking strategies.
• Plan and route trucks by analyzing all aspects to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transportation.
• Manage and deliver OTIF (On-Time and In-Full), with a focus on On-Time measurements.
• Support process improvement opportunities throughout the Order to Cash (OTC) process.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Sciences, Business Management or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of logistics experience. Experience in Logistics Service Providers (LSP) for Last Mile Delivery is preferred.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management and distribution.
• Proficient in data analysis and performance reporting, with the ability to use relevant software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and implement innovative solutions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and industry best practices in logistics and distribution.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
