Job description

Ensuring that all JCLEC alumni data is included in the main database so that it can be uploaded to the alumni system/platform.

Responsibilities
  • Entering JCLEC alumni data from both physical/hard files and digital/soft files into the main database.
  • Checking the completeness and accuracy of data before and after input and ensuring there are no errors.
  • Performing other minor administrative tasks related to data.
  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of JCLEC and its staff.
  • Maintain effective relationships and communication with JCLEC visitors and the extended JCLEC community.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working in similar role.
  • Proficient in working with MS Word and MS Excel at an advanced level (understanding calculation formulas in MS Excel).
  • Experience working in a bi-lingual, cross-cultural environment, and government sectors is highly desirable.
  • Bi-lingual, both conversationally and in writing - Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Positive relationship management with an ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders including JCLEC management, JCLEC staff, and related external parties.
  • Creative, adaptable, able to work both in a team and independently.

The Jakarta Centre for Law Enforcement Cooperation (JCLEC) was established in 2004 within the grounds of the INP Police Academy in Semarang, Central Java by the Governments of Australia and Indonesia to support the development of Indonesian and Regional transnational crime prevention capability through the delivery of professional training opportunities and capacity development activities and projects. The JCLEC Foundation is registered as a not-for-profit organization under Indonesian Law and is jointly managed by Government personnel from the Indonesian National Police and the Australian Federal Police.
