Launched in Feb 2025, the app has gained strong early traction with 100k+ users, a 4.5+ rating on both Google Play and the App Store, and an expanding base of premium subscribers through our freemium model.

We are now looking for an exceptional Country Director to lead myBisnis into its next phase of scale, accelerating brand growth, driving user acquisition, strengthening retention, and building a high-performing local team.

Role Overview

The Country Director will own the growth and expansion of myBisnis in Indonesia. This is a senior leadership role responsible for brand building, user growth (downloads → active → paying users), on-ground strategy, partnerships, and local execution.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy operator with deep knowledge of Indonesia’s MSME ecosystem, strong marketing instincts, and proven experience scaling digital products.

Key Responsibilities

• Growth & Market Expansion
  • Lead the overall go-to-market strategy for Indonesia, focusing first on brand awareness, app downloads, priority active users, and premium conversion.
  • Build and execute data-driven growth strategies across performance marketing, influencers, partnerships, community engagement, and offline activations.
  • Set and drive KPIs for acquisition, retention, engagement, and revenue.
• Product Localisation & Market Fit
  • Work closely with the product and engineering teams to optimise the app for Indonesian users.
  • Translate customer insights and user behaviour into actionable product improvements.
  • Prioritise market-specific features to strengthen product-market fit.
• Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships with:
    • MSME communities
    • Business influencers and content creators
    • Associations, cooperatives, and educational institutions
  • Develop long-term collaborations to accelerate reach and revenue.
• Operations & P&L Ownership
  • Take full responsibility for the Indonesia P&L once the scale phase begins.
  • Forecast user growth, revenue, and execution budgets effectively.
  • Ensure operational excellence across campaigns, customer support, and user education.

What We’re Looking For

• 5-10+ years of experience in country leadership, growth, marketing, or business operations—preferably in tech, SaaS, fintech, or MSME-focused products.
• Demonstrated ability to scale a consumer or SMB-facing digital product in Indonesia.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian MSMEs and digital adoption patterns.
• Hands‑on leader who can operate as both strategist and executor during early scale.
• Experience managing teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Data‑driven mindset, with comfort interpreting funnel data, retention metrics, and revenue dashboards.
• Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia & English.
• Entrepreneurial drive and comfort with fast‑moving environments.
