Job summary

A leading logistics and transportation company in Jakarta is seeking a Business Development Executive. The role involves securing new businesses, managing existing accounts, and enhancing marketing quality. Job description

To secure new businesses for the company as well as managing the existing pool of accounts to increase the share of wallet from these customers

Develop, analyse and improve marketing quality

Maintain relations based on customer data, doing research for new opportunities and customers

Work closely with Operational, Customer Service, and Documents teams regarding the shipping / forwarding progress

Have buying power with vendors which relate to business development

Follow up quotation, sales leads or any business inquiries

Provide up‑to‑date information related to customer activities

Build a good relationship with the clients

Achieve the target company

Requirements
  • Bachelor degree or master degree (Economics and Business/Marketing Management/Transportation/Logistics) from a reputable university
  • At least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field (freight forwarding and logistics company)
  • Ability to negotiate and deep understanding of marketing skills
  • Experienced in Warehouse sales & Project sales is advantage.
  • Experienced in Special container sales (Reefer, IBC, isoto tank) also preferable.
  • Excellent in leadership skills, self‑motivated and goal‑oriented, desire to deliver results
  • Required languages: Indonesia, English or Mandarin languages will be plus point
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office applications especially Ms. Excel)
  • High curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Pleasant personality and good communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment
  • Able to join as soon as possible
