An upstream oil and gas company is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent in Jakarta Utara, Indonesia. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation of construction projects, ensuring adherence to design and budget while managing all related activities. You will have at least 15 years in Upstream Oil & Gas Projects and a strong record in project execution and compliance. Qualifications

• At least 15 years’ experience in Upstream Oil & Gas Projects.
• Last 5 years as Construction Superintendent in Upstream Oil & Gas.
• Experience dealing with SKK Migas is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop project execution procedures adhering to HSE standards.
• Monitor construction projects, including scheduling and material procurement.
• Evaluate project progress and update execution documentation.
• Plan procurement for materials and Services related to projects.
• Coordinate with project engineers and cost control departments.
• Prepare project activity reports for decision-making.

Job Summary

Organizing the implementation of construction projects through the development of project execution procedures, monitoring project progress, evaluating work progress, managing project documents, planning procurement contracts for materials and project Services, cost calculation and budget planning, as well as project activity reporting to ensure the timely execution of construction projects in accordance with the designated budget and construction design.

Responsibilities

• Developing project execution procedures in accordance with HSE standards and civil engineering designs to ensure compliance with project requirements and established standards.
• Monitoring the implementation of construction projects, including project scheduling, material procurement, equipment usage, and corrective actions for misinterpretations of construction designs to ensure timely execution within budget and planned designs.
• Regularly evaluating the progress of construction projects along with updating work execution documentation to ensure accurate information on work progress, along with continuous improvement recommendations.
• Planning the procurement process for materials and Services related to construction projects, including preparing procurement contract documents and conducting technical bid evaluations to support effective and efficient material procurement according to project needs in the field.
• Coordinating with project engineers, cost control, and relevant departments to estimate project costs, budget preparation, and approval of the Project AFE to ensure the effective and efficient availability of the construction project budget.
• Preparing facility project activity reports to be submitted to relevant parties as a basis for recommendations and decision-making in optimizing production activities.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 15 years’ experience in Upstream Oil & Gas Projects with last 5 years as Construction Superintendent in Upstream Oil & Gas Company or Upstream Oil & Gas EPC Company handling large gas project development. Having experience in dealing with SKK Migas is an added advantage.
• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
