Account Manager (F&B), Indonesia

As Account Manager, Flavor (Indonesia), you will be responsible for developing, sustaining, and building strategic solid business relationships with key accounts in Indonesia reporting to the Sales Manager. This role acts as the main point of contact between key accounts and internal teams communicating and collaborating with Technical, Marketing, and other internal client groups to ensure that key accounts requirements are met through well-defined projects. In return, you will receive exposure to various challenging yet exciting projects in a highly collaborative working environment with supportive colleagues here at Symrise.

The Position:
  • Responsible for supporting in achieving revenue target for assigned accounts, including developing account plan & strategy.
  • Be the local contact point for the assigned accounts, including relationship-management, co-ordination of projects, samples & documents.
  • Identify and obtain opportunities and projects from assigned accounts and be responsible to execute the projects and coordinate well with project team to completion and win.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to coordinate completion & commercialization of customer requests.
  • Prepare documents, presentations and statistics requested by Country Management team to support internal and external meetings.
  • Involve in preparation and revision of the sales budget and forecasts.
  • Co-ordination/execution of customer visits/innovation days.
  • Identify new hot-spots and high growth accounts beyond the assigned accounts.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business/Food Science/Marketing.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience from Flavourings or Food Ingredients B2B Sales, in the following roles as Business Development Manager or as Key Account Manager.
  • Familiarity with FMCG manufacturers and markets.
  • Strategic and analytical outlook complemented with regional business leadership experience preferred.
  • Ability to translate abstract data and insights into meaningful customer relevant, commercial initiatives.
  • Effective project management and facilitation within cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong solution-based selling and communication skills in stakeholder engagements to drive growth agenda.
  • Have deep insights into way of working with key FMCG companies to grow and build healthy business pipeline.
  • Highly result-oriented with strong collaborative mindset to be key team player will be added value.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Indonesia.
  • Computer literate with competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
