The Education Network is recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEND Support Workers to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across a range of educational settings. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about inclusion and supporting pupils to reach their full potential.
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND
- Support learners with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
- Assist with the implementation of EHCPs and individual support plans
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff
- Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND (school or care setting)
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual needs
- Relevant qualifications or SEND training (desirable but not essential)
