My client in the Sheffield area (Attercliffe) is looking for 2 Fabricators. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in TIG welding and fabrication processes, with the ability to work with stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, copper and brass. You will be working on 100% bespoke products.

• Perform TIG welding on various metal components to meet specifications.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process, ensuring timely resolution.

• Proven experience in metal fabrication, including proficiency in TIG welding.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with fabrication techniques involving sheet metal is preferred.
• Competence in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
