A plant and tool hire company based in Horsham is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver to join its transport team. The role involves driving a Class 2 Flatbed to deliver and collect equipment, ensuring safe loading, and providing excellent customer service. The position offers £18 per hour, increasing to £19 with a ticket, along with 28 days holiday and no weekend work. Ideal candidates will have a valid Class 2 licence and a strong work ethic. Driver Hire Gatwick is looking for a Class 2 driver to join one of our well established clients based in the Horsham area. We're recruiting to expand the transport team and looking for reliable, hardworking HGV Class 2 Drivers to help deliver high-quality plant equipment (mini diggers/dumpers) to customers and sites across the region.
- Driving a Class 2 Flatbed to deliver and collect plant equipment.
- Ensuring safe loading and unloading of equipment using chains, straps, and ramps.
- Between 5-10 deliveries per day.
- Providing excellent customer service on-site.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining high safety standards.
- A valid Cat C (Class 2) licence.
- Physically fit and active - this role involves hands‑on work.
- Experience with plant equipment or beaver tail vehicles is desirable (but not essential).
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- £18 per hour, which will increase to £19 per hour if you have a ticket.
- No weekend work - enjoy your weekends free!
- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
