HGV Class 2 Driver - Plant & Tool Hire | Horsham

Salary: £18 - £19 per hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm - but finishing times might vary (No Weekends!)

Driver Hire Gatwick is looking for a Class 2 driver to join one of our well established clients based in the Horsham area. We're recruiting to expand the transport team and looking for reliable, hardworking HGV Class 2 Drivers to help deliver high-quality plant equipment (mini diggers/dumpers) to customers and sites across the region.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Driving a Class 2 Flatbed to deliver and collect plant equipment.
• Ensuring safe loading and unloading of equipment using chains, straps, and ramps.
• Between 5-10 deliveries per day.
• Providing excellent customer service on-site.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining high safety standards.

What We’re Looking For

• A valid Cat C (Class 2) licence.
• Physically fit and active - this role involves hands‑on work.
• Experience with plant equipment or beaver tail vehicles is desirable (but not essential).
• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
