Job summary
A logistics and distribution provider is seeking motivated Order Pickers for a new site in Sherburn in Elmet. This manual role involves picking orders at heights using HLOP trucks. Full training is provided, and candidates must be comfortable working at height. We are currently recruiting motivated and reliable Order Pickers to join the warehouse team. This is a manual, fast-paced role involving order picking at heights of up to 14 meters using HLOP trucks (High Level Order Pickers).
- Pick orders accurately while operating at heights of up to 14 meters
- Work from a standing position in very narrow aisles (VNA environment)
- Perform general manual handling and warehouse duties
- Follow all site safety procedures including rope escape awareness (covered at induction)
- Support team operations and maintain a clean and organised work area
- No licence required - full training is provided
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Must be comfortable working at height and using rope escape equipment in emergencies
- HLOP experience highly desirable (VNA experience also considered)
- Physically fit and able to work in a standing, manual role
- Must be able to commit to the Friday - Monday shift pattern (4 days, 06:00 - 16:00)
- Own transport essential due to limited public transport options
- Excellent hourly pay rates (£13.75 - £15.25 depending on day)
