Job description

CK Group are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation that develop and manufacture veterinary products. This role will be working on site in Dundee on a short-term contract basis until the end of the year initially.

The Role

Assist with all warehouse operational duties at site including but not limited to receiving storing issuing sampling dispensing dispatching loading / unloading recycling stocktaking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be competent in all relevant department and site Standard Operating Proceduresand perform tasks according to the detailed procedures.
  • Ensure all records are completed accurately and systems are kept up to date with accurate information.
  • Work to daily and weekly schedules and feedback to the lead of the area on any issues to be resolved to achieve targets.
  • Ensure any equipment under your control is fit for purpose safe to use used according to manufacturers and site instructions and maintained in a safe working condition.
  • Undertake specific projects as requested. This includes but is not restricted to process improvement training validation activities execute new cGMP practices (CPAR actions). Projects assigned are completed in the agreed time.
  • All daily and weekly warehouse sampling and dispensary work schedules are adhered to and completed within required timeframes.
  • Change overs and equipment cleaning requirements are scheduled efficiently to minimize impact on delivery commitment.
Your Background
  • Minimum highest level of secondary education.
  • Relevant forklift truck operating licence.
  • Relevant warehousing experience in a pharmaceutical or related industry.
  • Understanding of the fundamental principles of GMP.
  • Ability to use computer systems and Microsoft Office suites.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as well as safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to apply mathematical skills to analysis and interpretation of data and trends.
