Joao’s Place is a destination bar with a private terrace overlooking Calton Hill and the Firth of Forth, serving curated cocktails and bar snacks.

Reporting to the Bars Manager, you will be the main contact for guests in the restaurant, ensuring they feel welcome, taking orders, making recommendations, and providing excellent service.

We seek a people-person who thrives in a busy restaurant environment and is passionate about hospitality.

• Know the food and beverage offerings thoroughly.
• Learn about our menus and the inspiration behind them.
• Take orders, answer menu questions, and inform guests about allergens and modifications.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
