Job summary
A historic catering company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Bar Manager to oversee the Bar while delivering exceptional service and driving sales. The role requires passion for food and drinks, and a strong background in beverage management. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of managerial experience, focusing on creating cocktails and maintaining service standards. Qualifications
- 1-2 years in a managerial position is required.
- Ability to create and maintain service and operational standards.
- Experience in managing beverage offers including cocktails and beers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Bar area to deliver exceptional service.
- Manage and innovate the overall beverage offer.
- Lead cocktail list creation and maintain quality standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with guests and team members.
Skills
The Bar Manager will oversee the Bar area , supporting the team to deliver exceptional service, creating and maintaining Drinks and service standards while driving sales through upselling and repeat guests.
Salary: £33\37,000 per year
Working 5 days over 7
Gallery opening hours are 10-6 excluding Fridays that will be 10-9.
- You are passionate about food and drinks!
- Manage the overall beverage offerfor the restaurant including cocktails, beers, garnishes and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Create and maintain service and operational standards for the bar, making use of best practices and efficiencies where possible.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of cocktail lists including new and innovative products and combinations while keeping GP and stock control in mind.
- Build and maintain relationships with guests, team members and clients.
- Demonstrate a professional and courteous attitude throughout service, acting as a ambassador for the brand.
- Strive for maximum efficiency and continual improvement of staff productivity
- Additional duties as assigned or required by the General Manager.
