Job summary

A leading fashion retailer in Greater London is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to support their team in managing the critical path and ensure timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will be a current Assistant Merchandiser or a Senior Merchandising Assistant, possessing strong communication and analytical skills. Responsibilities include managing suppliers, analyzing performance, and supporting the merchandising function. A hybrid working model is offered.

Qualifications

  • Experience at a Senior Merchandising Assistant level or current Assistant Merchandiser in a fashion environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support in the management of the department critical path.
  • Managing shipment approvals and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Daily communication with suppliers and internal departments.
  • Flagging risks or opportunities to the Merchandiser.
  • Managing barcodes and special ticket requirements.
  • Supplier analysis for end of season reviews.
  • Creating trading reports to support global performance overview.
