About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and expert Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team. This is a critical role that requires a blend of deep subject matter expertise, strong leadership, and exceptional communication skills. The successful candidate will act as a pivotal liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving the successful development and implementation of complex IT solutions. You will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of our clients and projects, fostering innovation, and mentoring junior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expert Liaison & Requirements Management: Act as the primary liaison between clients and technical groups, utilizing superior communication, elicitation, documentation, analysis, and validation skills to manage complex business requirements from inception to delivery.
• Strategic Solution Development: Apply advanced industry-specific expertise to recommend, coordinate, and lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of client systems, processes, and products, leveraging high-maturity methods, processes, and tools.
• Innovation & Influence: Develop innovative business solutions by combining industry knowledge with IT understanding; influence strategic direction and lead analysis teams on large projects.
• Leadership & Governance: Lead requirements and change management processes for complex initiatives; oversee the development of visualization and UX elements within solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain internal and external relationships to manage project scope, schedule, budgets, and expectations effectively.
• Business Analysis & Opportunity Identification: Lead complex business studies, present results to senior management, and engage in proposals and feasibility studies to identify new opportunities.
• Process Improvement & Mentorship: Promote continuous process improvements and mentor peers and clients, establishing and refining policies.
• Independent Judgement: Exercise significant independent judgment within broad policies to determine the best methods for work and objectives achievement.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a large, complex organization
• Staff management and/or mentoring experience
• Expertise in liaison & requirements management, strategic solution development, innovation, leadership, stakeholder management, business analysis, and process improvement (as detailed above)
