As BioNTech's AI research organization, InstaDeep leads breakthroughs in biology with projects like the Nucleotide Transformer, ProtBFN, and InstaNovo. In our RNA group, we develop AI for BioNTech's core technologies, including the foundation of the first Covid vaccine and personalized cancer immunotherapy programs.

Role responsibilities

• Manage projects at the intersection of AI, biochemistry, and medical research, working with world-leading experts.
• Support and unblock colleagues, organize information, and promote clarity and efficiency.
• Identify new opportunities and coordinate their execution.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate transparently.
• Travel internationally several times a year as needed.

Essential skills

• PhD or Master's in biology, medicine, AI, mathematics, or related fields.
• Proactive, self-directed, and quick learner.
• Outcome-focused with strategic and practical balance.
• Collaborative, personable, and able to build consensus.
• Excellent communicator with diverse audiences.
• Experience in project organization and risk identification.
• Proficient with modern software tools.
