Your role:
As an Estate Caretaker, you will work within a team of 20 Estate Caretakers and have responsibility for a range of duties to create a clean, green and safe environment on estates throughout the Borough.
You will carry out tasks such as removal of fly tipping, general grounds maintenance and minor building repairs. You will complete monthly block flat Fire Risk Assessments which involves reporting and documenting any faults, including fire alarms and emergency lighting, and ensuring that any communal areas are kept clear of any obstructions.
About you:
You will be passionate about making a difference to the Tenants’ neighbourhoods, you will use your excellent customer care skills including face to face contact with customers on the estates and other professionals. You will have the ability to work on an individual basis and as part of a team.
You will have a working knowledge of health and safety requirements appropriate to the role. You will hold a full valid driving licence to undertake the driving requirements of the role.
