Provide high-quality speech, language, and communication therapy services to children and young people with Profound & Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). You’ll assess, plan, and deliver tailored interventions that promote communication access and enhance quality of life. Collaborating closely with families, carers, and multidisciplinary professionals, you’ll help foster inclusive communication environments and drive service excellence.

• Manage a diverse caseload of children and young people with complex communication needs, including AAC users.
• Carry out comprehensive assessments covering communication, feeding, and swallowing needs.
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans, adapting them as necessary.
• Promote communication inclusion across schools and community-based settings.
• Deliver training and coaching sessions for parents, educators, and carers.
• Contribute to Education Health & Care Plans (EHCPs) and produce detailed clinical reports.
• Maintain accurate and professional records, ensuring compliance with service and clinical standards.
• Work collaboratively with partners to support continuous service improvement and development.
