A healthcare provider is looking for a part-time Band 7 Psychological Therapist to join their Community Mental Health Team in King's Lynn. This role involves conducting therapy assessments, delivering interventions, and providing consultation. The ideal candidate will have a relevant health or social care qualification and experience in therapeutic approaches. Benefits include extensive training programs and generous leave. We are looking to recruit a part time Band 7 Psychological Therapist to join our Community Mental Health Team on a substantive, working 30 hours per week. The post is based at Chatterton House in Kings Lynn and serves the population of West Norfolk. The Psychology Resource within the West Adult CMHT is well embedded and contains a number of professionals including Clinical Psychology, CBT therapists, DBT therapists, Art Therapy, Clinical Associate Psychologists and Trainee Clinical Psychologists. We would welcome Psychological Therapists trained in a relational model of therapy to balance the existing compliment in the workforce.
This post offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the care of adults experiencing complex mental health difficulties, including relational challenges, within a multi-disciplinary secondary care setting.
You will be joining a diverse and skilled team with competencies and accreditations in a range of evidence-based psychological therapies. The role is essential in maintaining continuity of psychological input and supporting the wider MDT during a period of increased service demand and development.
