Job summary
A comprehensive school in the United Kingdom is seeking a flexible and motivated Technology Technician to support the teaching of Technology from January 2026. Responsibilities include preparing materials for practical lessons, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe working environment. Candidates should be familiar with Health and Safety regulations and have good communication skills. Previous experience in a school setting is desirable.

- Experience in preparing materials for practical lessons.
- Experience in maintaining equipment in the Technology Department.
- Ability to maintain a clean working environment.
- Ability to monitor safe and secure storage of equipment and materials.
- Willingness to engage in professional development training.
- Experience working in a school or college environment is desirable.
Skills
We are looking to appoint a flexible and motivated Technology Technician to support the teaching of Technology at all key stages from January 2026. Candidates should have the following experience :
- preparing materials for practical lessons
- maintaining equipment in the Technology Department
- maintain a clean working environment
- monitor safe and secure storage of both equipment and materials
- attend and engage in professional development training
- have a good knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
- good communication skills
- previous experience of working in a school or college environment is desirable with knowledge of CAD, laser cutters, 2D draw and Google sketch up
