Job Description

Tekon – Technical Consultants, Inc, the leading certified & independent Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB) Contractor serving New England, is looking for an HVAC Testing & Balancing Technician to start immediately! Starting pay is $33.64 – $59.00 an hour depending on experience & location with the total wage/benefit package of over $108/hr.

Experience: Journeyman or 3 year experienced TAB Technician (depending on held/desired certifications).

MULTIPLE Positions available throughout New England

Pay Rates are determined by Region:

• Boston, MA
• Portland, ME
• Manchester, NH
• Providence, RI

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Perform TAB services for air and hydronic heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in new construction and renovation projects.
• Test and balance HVAC systems using established NEBB procedures with company provided testing equipment.
• Document all test results with true and accurate methods using company documentation procedures.
• Communicate any deficiencies or recommendations to supervisor and client continuously throughout the project.
• Coordinate closely with other construction trades such as electrical, mechanical, control contractor, and design team.
• Uphold the company’s values and exhibit a strong work ethic at all times.
• Follow all company, jobsite, and OSHA safety policies and practices.
• Continually improve and develop technical skills to better serve our clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years HVAC experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid Social Security Number.
• TABB, NEBB and/or AABC certifications not required but highly desired.

Main work locations: Throughout MA, ME, NH & RI.
