A specialized IT services provider is seeking a Consulting Engineer in Glasgow to provide advanced technical guidance and design robust solutions. The role involves leading project delivery, troubleshooting network issues, and mentoring engineers. Ideal candidates have CCNP-level Cisco certification and strong experience with Cisco technologies and cloud environments. Competitive daily rate offered at £400–£450.

- Minimum CCNP-level Cisco certification.
- Proven experience deploying at least 5 of the specified technologies in a production environment.
Responsabilidades
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, from design through to implementation.
- Take full ownership of technical issues, ensuring thorough diagnosis and resolution.
- Deliver project engineering services including low-level design, implementation, and consultancy.
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical incidents.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and security-related issues with precision and efficiency.
- Mentor and support the development of other engineers.

- Cisco Firewalls (ASA or Firepower)
- Cisco Voice/IPT
- Cisco SD-WAN
- Cisco ISE
- Cisco Meraki
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- Azure or AWS cloud environments
- Ability to obtain NPPV Security Clearance
- £400–£450 per day
