Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood have recently been instructed by a highly reputable national firm based in Edinburgh.

Our client is looking to bring on board a talented ACA / ACCA Qualified Accounts & Auditor to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have varied general practice experience including experience of undertaking and leading audit assignments on a variety of clients, relevant accounts preparation work, and necessary tax returns.

This role offers a rare balance of interesting general practice work, business advisory projects, accounts preparation, tax & auditing work – it would put you in good stead for future professional development. You would also gain exposure to a diverse client base including SMEs, OMBs & some International groups.

1. Act as an advisor to owner-managed businesses on a range of accounts and business advisory.
2. Leading audit assignments (from planning through to conclusion) for significant audit engagements including supervision of staff and client management.
3. Preparation of tax computations and Corporation Tax returns (CT600).
4. Preparation of accounts of companies, groups of companies, partnerships, and LLPs together with Tax computations.

This role is ideal for candidates with relevant experience in a UK accountancy practice. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
