Personal Tax Manager – Top 50 Accountancy Firm

As a Personal Tax Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering a blend of advisory and compliance work for a diverse portfolio of private clients. You'll manage complex cases involving residence and domicile, inheritance tax, and capital gains tax planning, while providing clear, commercial advice that makes a real difference. You'll also have the opportunity to lead client relationships, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the growth and success of the Private Client team – all within a collaborative environment that prioritises flexibility, trust, and development.

• Manage and develop your own portfolio of private clients.
• Deliver high‑quality personal tax compliance and advisory work.
• Lead on IHT, CGT, and residence/domicile projects.
• Review work prepared by junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Plan and oversee assignments, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Support Partners with proposals, presentations, and client development.
• Keep abreast of evolving legislation and identify opportunities for clients.

• Confident, client‑focused tax professional who enjoys solving complex problems and building trusted relationships.
• CTA qualification with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Solid experience in both compliance and advisory for private clients.
• Proven ability to manage your own client portfolio.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach.
• Strong technical understanding of UK personal tax matters, particularly for SMEs, entrepreneurs, and HNW individuals.
