About The Role

Reporting to the Senior Architectural Designer, you will collaborate with external consultants, building control bodies, and suppliers to ensure the delivery of specialist design aligned with Cala standards and values. Your main responsibilities include:

1. Reviewing and maintaining Cala Homes' preferred English housing portfolio and standard details.
2. Liaising with other departments to provide technical information and support regarding regulations and Cala products.
3. Visiting sites to assess products and identify improvements.
4. Collaborating with the sustainability team to incorporate measures that may reduce the carbon footprint through design.
5. Staying updated on future changes in Building Regulations that could impact Cala or its products through proactive research.

About You

A background in Architectural Design, such as an HNC/HND or related degree, is essential. We seek a candidate eager to learn, capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines, with a passion for architectural technology and sustainability. Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture is essential, and knowledge of Revit is advantageous.
