As an independent building services design consultancy, we specialise in the design of innovative mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) services. We help clients achieve operational Net Zero Carbon by applying expert knowledge and using the latest design technologies and methods to create highly energy-efficient MEP solutions.
Building Performance Modeller Glasgow Due to continued growth, we are expanding our Building Performance Modelling team in our Glasgow office. Were keen to hear from candidates who are looking to further develop their career in Building Performance Modelling and Sustainability within the built environment.
Our Building Performance Modelling & Sustainability teams are fully integrated within our wider engineering design group, supporting the delivery of complete building services engineering solutions across a broad range of project types.
As a key member of our experienced team, you will contribute to the development of energy, decarbonisation, and sustainability strategies for both new-build and existing buildings, working closely with Building Services Engineers and Sustainability Specialists.
You will have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of environmental building systems, undertake assessments, provide sustainability advice, and visit project sites while progressing toward professional membership.
Experience with the IES-VE tool is desirable, as it is central to the role. Knowledge of Part L / Section 6 assessments, climate-based daylight modelling, TM54 operational energy assessments, decarbonisation studies, and sustainability rating tools (such as BREEAM and NABERS) will be advantageous.
