Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements. They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our planning team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing production efficiency, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining an optimal balance between demand and supply. This position requires a keen understanding of manufacturing processes, working with multiple stakeholders, and effective communication to coordinate various elements of the production workflow.

What your background should look like:
- Preferably a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a production scheduler in manufacturing, especially with moulding scheduling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in scheduling software systems, including SAP.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for production scheduling of moulded plastic & rubber items, plating, and second operation requirements.
- Weekly production planning, ensuring release of production orders and alignment with the production team in weekly & daily meetings.
- Daily monitoring of production orders, tracking variances, and ensuring schedules are on track.
- Assist in coordinating production cells for maximum efficiency.
- Create and maintain production schedules to meet company and customer delivery goals.
- Perform production-related administrative tasks.
- Maintain a focus on continuous improvement.
- Attend cross-departmental meetings to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Maintain up-to-date capacity definitions for production work centers.
- Monitor and ensure accuracy of data related to production work centers.
- Collaborate with teams to execute plans smoothly and optimize resources.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize excess inventory.
- Share schedules with relevant teams and stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.
- Analyze production data and generate performance reports.
