The Engagement and Outreach Learning Officer supports the growth and visibility of the Business by Design (BBD) Academy through face-to-face and online programmes. This role involves building relationships with educational institutions and community groups, developing engagement strategies, and delivering outreach activities to inspire young people. The officer will collaborate with the Head of Academy and teams to support marketing, events, and programme development aligned with growth goals.

• Develop and deliver outreach programmes to promote BBD Academy.
• Build partnerships with schools, colleges, and community organizations.
• Organize engagement activities like job fairs, visits, and open days.
• Plan and host in-person and virtual taster sessions.
• Represent the Academy at events to raise awareness.
• Create engaging learning materials for outreach and summer activities.
• Research and contribute to new learning experiences.
• Align outreach activities with curriculum themes and learner pathways.

• Coordinate with marketing for consistent messaging.
• Gather insights to inform marketing strategies.
• Support digital presence through content and social media.

• Collect feedback and evaluate outreach success.
• Maintain records and report on KPIs related to outreach and attendance.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident speaker.
• Experience in outreach, education, youth engagement, or community work.
• Ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Organized, proactive, capable of managing multiple projects.
• Knowledge of UK educational environments and curriculum.
• Creative, learner-focused, passionate about education.
• Experience with digital tools and social media (desirable).
• Flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends.
• Background in education, marketing, youth work, or community development.
• Knowledge of widening participation or inclusion programmes.
• Familiarity with online learning platforms or virtual events.
