Job summary
A specialized education recruitment firm is seeking a Behaviour Assistant to support students aged 11-19 in a full-time SEN role. The successful candidate will provide complete in-class support and respond to behaviour challenges, aiding students in both class and extra-curricular activities. Experience in special education is essential, alongside the ability to adapt to varying student needs within a dynamic environment. The role offers a day rate of £100-£125 and requires an energetic, professional approach.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a special school setting is required.
- Must be able to work across different classes and age groups.
- Physically active and energetic to meet complex needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-class support for lessons that may change at short notice.
- Respond promptly to behaviour support requests.
- Deliver short-term interventions on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis.
- Support students during school trips and outdoor activities.
