An outstanding and award-winning group of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools is seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (Deputy DSL) to join the permanent staff team at their Ormskirk site, starting in September 2025.

The Role
The Deputy DSL will support the Designated Safeguarding Lead in ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding are maintained across the school. This is a vital role for an individual passionate about safeguarding, inclusion, and the rights of young people. The post-holder will be instrumental in managing safeguarding referrals, liaising with external agencies, and ensuring policy and practice are embedded throughout the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
