Job summary

An educational staffing agency in England seeks enthusiastic Sport and Sport Psychology graduates to work as Teaching Assistants. Candidates will support pupils with special educational needs, provide emotional and social skills interventions, and assist in classroom learning. Ideal applicants will hold relevant degrees and have experience working with children with SEMH and Autism. This position is based in Canterbury and offers a daily rate of £85 - £100, on-site parking included.

Qualifications

Are you a Sports Science, Sport Psychology or Psychology student/graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience within education, mental health or youth work? We are currently working with both mainstream and specialist SEN schools across East Kent who are seeking enthusiastic, resilient and passionate Sport and Sport Psychology graduates to work as Teaching Assistants, Behaviour Support Mentors and Sports Coaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH, ADHD, Autism and behavioural needs.
  • Support students with emotional regulation and social skills through positive, sport-based and structured interventions.
  • Assist with classroom learning, physical activities and mentor sessions.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams to promote inclusion and positive behaviour.

£85 - £100 per day, Mon‑Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only
