Location: London (E1)

Hybrid working as standard: 2 days a week in the office, the other 3 days remote (or office if you prefer)

Our mission:

• Two in five people in the UK rent their homes. Goodlord's mission? To provide them with the best renting experience in the world

• We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, the landlord, and the tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution

• Like all scale-ups it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we’re now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products and 350+ Goodlordians across the group supporting the mission!

The Opportunity:

• Support the team in building dashboards and reports to help drive better decision-making across the business.

• Assist with data analysis to answer real questions from stakeholders across departments.

• Help with the upkeep and documentation of our datasets and data pipelines.

• Learn how to work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data tasks.

• Develop your SQL skills and gain exposure to tools like Metabase, BigQuery, and Airflow.

What we need from you:

• A degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or similar) or demonstrable experience working with data (e.g. coursework, bootcamps, personal projects).

• A basic understanding of SQL; enough to write simple queries and eager to learn more.

• Some exposure to Python (even if just through study or side projects).

• Curiosity and enthusiasm for data, and a desire to learn how data drives business decisions.

• Good communication skills: you're comfortable asking questions and explaining what you’ve found.
