A financial services company based in the UK is seeking a Data Services Team Lead to manage a team focused on data extraction and transformation. The role involves ensuring service delivery during a major system migration and implementing best practices in ETL processes. Candidates should have extensive experience with SQL, ETL technologies like SSIS, and excellent communication skills. The role offers a hybrid working model and a range of employee benefits including a bonus scheme and health cover.
Working within the IT function, the Data Services Lead will manage a small team responsible for the extraction, transformation and loads of data for the company, and the support/management of the company’s Data Warehouse. We primarily work with Microsoft SSIS (various versions) and SAP Data Services 3.1. We also utilise custom load programs built in C# as well as application native loads in C&R Debt Manager.
As lead for the team, you will ensure service across both BAU and program work as we complete a major core system migration. There will be opportunities to help shape the technology in the supporting ETL infrastructure.
Hours per week: 35
Hybrid role: We don't require you to work from an office weekly, we solely ask for you to be flexible in your approach to office working, travelling to the Hull office as and when required.
