GCP SRE Engineer with Data Engineering Exposure

My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a GCP SRE Engineer with Data Engineering Exposure for a 6‑month contract inside IR35 based in Bristol offering 2 days per week remote but requiring 3 days per week on‑site.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in GCP Cloud, Terraform (IaC), Jenkins, GitHub, Harness, CI / CD pipeline design and automation, Kubernetes (GKE / OpenShift), and Python scripting for automation.

The ideal candidate will desirably have good familiarity with IDE platforms (e.g., Backstage IDP) and understanding of GCP Data Products: Cloud SQL, GCS, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, BigQuery, Vertex AI.
