A progressive and inclusive secondary school in Hyde is seeking a qualified and passionate Science Teacher to join its strong Science department. This role involves teaching General Science across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics depending on experience.

The school encourages professional development and supports newly qualified and experienced teachers alike.

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Science lessons to mixed-ability groups

• Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL students

• Participate in departmental CPD, marking, and moderation

• Prepare pupils for internal assessments and GCSE examinations

• Contribute positively to the school’s culture of high expectations and inclusion

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)

• Strong subject knowledge in Science
