Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair company equipment, including vehicles, cranes, boats, and trailers, as well as small engine repairs.
• Perform repairs on-site and in the shop.
• Inspect equipment regularly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of small engine, gasoline engine, diesel engine, and boat repair.
• Ability to work with hand tools and power tools.

Education and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines and small engine repair.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 5-7 years of experience as a mechanic, with at least 2 years in marine construction preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, etc.
• Work in construction and marine environments with associated hazards.
• Work in small, enclosed spaces.
• Move about the site, perform repetitive motions, and operate machinery and power tools.
• Operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
• Work in extreme weather conditions.
• Respond quickly to sounds and detect dangerous situations.
• Navigate all areas of the jobsite, including walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, and stretching.
