A leading mental health organization in Manchester is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to lead the care for patients on a male acute ward. This position involves comprehensive psychiatric assessments, managing patient treatment, and providing medical leadership within a multidisciplinary team. A Vacancy at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. The Consultant Psychiatrist will be responsible for the care of 17 patients on Brook ward, a 22‑beded all male acute adult ward, with the support of a ward Associate Specialty doctor who is already in post. They will take an active role in developing the service in line with the RCPsych standards in an inpatient setting and be supported in innovation in the delivery of patient‑centred high quality care. This role is based at the Moorside Unit, on the site of Trafford General Hospital, and works within a senior clinician team for AOWA Inpatients consisting of 3.2 FTE Consultant Psychiatrists.
