The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology to work in a busy NHS Hospital in East Midlands. We are seeking a Biomedical Scientist who can support and enhance the laboratory’s Microbiology service.

• Role: Biomedical Scientist
• Band: 6
• Location: East Midlands
• Hours: 37.5 per week
• Duration: Ongoing

As a Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology, you will:

• Read cultures and identify significant pathogens
• Perform susceptibility testing
• Support senior biomedical scientists in service delivery
• Provide guidance to junior staff

• Relocation, accommodation, and DBS/CRB checks assistance
• Support from experienced consultants familiar with your field
• Prompt payroll processing
• CV and interview guidance
• Assistance with professional registration
• Flexible payment options (PAYE, umbrella, LTD)

• HCPC registration
• Experience with analyzers
• NHS laboratory experience at Band 6 level
