Job summary
A leading finance company in Greater London is seeking a Management Accountant to support the Group Support function. The role involves preparing accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the financial integrity of the organization. Key responsibilities include performing monthly financial closing, analyzing reports, and assisting with audit processes. Ideal candidates should have 1-3 years of accountancy experience and strong Excel skills. Competitive salary and benefits offered.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of working accountancy experience.
- Knowledge of financial systems (preferably Workday ERP).
- Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Experience in cash operations.
- Strong Excel skills (Intermediate level).
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post recurring journal entries.
- Perform monthly financial closing procedures.
- Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyze monthly travel and expense reports.
- Report monthly intercompany transactions.
- Assist in preparing analysis and reporting on cost centres.
- Support the preparation of annual tax returns.
- Participate in finance projects as necessary.
