Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager - Infrastructure Projects
Nationwide (Home-based with UK travel) Reports to: Cost Management Director
Your New Role
Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to support the delivery of capital and asset replacement works across a diverse UK infrastructure portfolio. This home-based role involves financial control, procurement, contract management, and stakeholder liaison, ensuring projects meet cost, compliance, and value targets.
Manage budgets, cost planning, forecasts, and valuations
Administer contracts and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
Support procurement of consultants/contractors and manage financial reporting
Identify and mitigate commercial risks
Liaise with SPV Boards and stakeholders, supporting funding requests
Ensure governance, compliance, and quality documentation
Contribute to project delivery through both pre- and post-contract phases
Experience in PFI/PPP and infrastructure projects
HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
Strong commercial acumen and contract knowledge
Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
Full UK driving licence
