Job Description:

They constantly strive to exceed their clients’ expectations by delivering a wide range of property services across the UK including refitting, refurbishment, civil engineering, mechanical and electrical installations.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Solicits and maintains communication with subcontractors.
- Shows creativity and resourcefulness to gain better pricing from subcontractors.
- Review bid requirements thoroughly and asks follow-up questions on every bid.
- Has a thorough understanding of the scope for specific trades assigned.
- Develops RFIs and clarifications and ensures adequate subcontractor coverage. Minimizes exclusions to the tender by liaising with client and subcontractor.
- Review awarded tender drawings with Project team and highlight areas of concern.
- Highlighting subcontractors and materials that require lead times for design and materials.
- Ensures that subcontractors and materials suppliers can meet programmed dates.
- Handle all subcontractor interactions to build long-term relationships.
- Build relationships with other departments including Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Accounting, HSQE, and Buying.
- Work with the pre-construction team to ensure bids and proposals are competitive and have the greatest chance of winning.
- Assist the Lead Estimator and the Pre-Construction team with daily activities.
- Complete all activities with pride of ownership.
- Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be self-motivated and punctual.
- Manage multiple tasks with excellent follow-up skills both internally and externally.
