World Class Defence Organisation based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire is currently looking to recruit a Quality Engineer subcontractor on an initial 6-month contract.
Rate:£38 per hour
Overtime Rate: Hours worked over the standard 37 hours per week, will be paid at ‘time and a quarter’
Location: Stevenage
Hybrid / Remote working: The role will be a hybrid position of 3 days in office, 2 days from home
Duration: 6 Months with very likely extension. Contracts are often ongoing and long-term thereafter
IR35 status: Inside IR35 (Umbrella)

Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Quality Assurance Manufacturing team as they provide professional quality support to the Manufacturing team in the UK.
You will provide an independent visibility and assurance that manufacturing and related processes are applied across all Projects. Provide support and advice on all aspects of quality within UK Manufacturing. Identify and implement sustainable improvements to existing methods and processes. Identify and reduce project risk or problem areas / issues associated with process application, effectiveness or compliance.
