Job summary
A leading quality assurance firm is looking for a First Article Inspector for a 6-month contract in Painswick, England. The role entails performing First Article Inspections (FAI), ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, and collaborating with various teams. Candidates should have experience with FAIR review, knowledge of AS9102 Standards, and strong problem-solving skills. The position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work flexible hours within an industrial environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in FAIR review and approval.
- Understanding of AS9100, ISO 9001, and AS9102 Standards.
- Ability to document and address non-conformances.
Responsibilities
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) for propeller assemblies.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports according to AS9102.
- Collaborate with quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
