Job summary
A global finance client is looking for an experienced Python Developer to work on API development. The role involves designing and maintaining automation solutions, troubleshooting issues in containerized environments, and deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Candidates should have strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, and tools like Docker and Kubernetes. This is a 12-month contract with a competitive daily rate, based in the United Kingdom.

Company Introduction:
We are currently recruiting for a Python Developer with experience in API development for an exciting contract at our global client in the finance sector.
- Hands-on experience with API development using Python and FastAPI.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Exposure on enhancing observability with knowledge of tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Advantageous to have enterprise tools knowledge (i.e., Control M, True sight, Guardium, Tenable Nessus, Delinea)
- Knowledge of Security and Software Development in a Highly regulated environment
- End-to-end knowledge of build, package, test, and deployment of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using Agile practices and Tools (JIRA, etc.)
- Exposure to managing secrets using Hashicorp Vault
- Exposure and working knowledge of PostgreSQL / PostgreSQL Database Administration
