Senior Site Manager

The position:

Salter Grange is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Site Manager to work on the delivery of c.600-unit student accommodation development in the City of London.

Key responsibilities:

1. Oversee the construction and delivery of a large-scale student accommodation development, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
2. Manage the project programme, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions where necessary
3. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and effective communication
4. Lead and coordinate site teams, ensuring alignment with objectives and maintaining a collaborative working environment
5. Ensure that all construction works meet the required specifications and standards
6. Uphold the highest health and safety standards on-site, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies
7. Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring proactive resolution of any challenges

Requirements:

1. Proven track record of delivering large-scale residential projects, including RC frame new build high rise schemes
2. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
3. Strong understanding of reinforced concrete construction
4. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and manage stakeholders effectively
