A leading water management company seeks a Directorate Administrator to provide high-quality administrative support to senior leaders in Huntingdon. The role involves proactive management of diaries, inboxes, and meeting logistics, plus oversight of purchasing processes and regulatory correspondence. Successful candidates will have proven organization skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft 365 and SAP. Circa £24,840 dependent on skills & experience
Permanent – full time (37 hours) with flexibility for part time
Huntingdon / Peterborough – hybrid working, with 3 days in the office
You’ll provide high‑quality, consistent administrative and organisational support across the Quality Environment & Assurance Directorate, with a particular focus on senior leader support, stakeholder coordination, and day‑to‑day operational smoothness. The role covers proactive diary and inbox management, forward planning, meeting logistics, action tracking, and support for directorate‑wide events.
A key part of the remit is information and correspondence management, including shared mailbox triage for regulatory and stakeholder communications, plus structured minute‑taking and action logging for technical and regulatory forums. You’ll also lead on purchasing and cost‑control admin, and own the Directorate’s Lighthouse site and document governance, ensuring content is accurate, controlled and compliant (including H&S and GDPR).
