A leading water utility provider is seeking a Directorate Administrator to provide high-quality administrative support across the Quality Environment & Assurance Directorate. This role involves managing diaries and inboxes, organizing meetings, and ensuring compliance with document governance. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and proficiency in IT applications like Microsoft 365 and SAP. A hybrid work arrangement allows for a blend of in-office and remote work. Circa £24,840 dependent on skills & experience. Permanent - full time (37 hours) with flexibility for part time. Huntingdon / Peterborough - hybrid working, with 3 days in the office.

You'll provide high quality, consistent administrative and organisational support across the Quality Environment & Assurance Directorate, with a particular focus on senior leader support, stakeholder coordination, and day-to-day operational smoothness. The role covers proactive diary and inbox management, forward planning, meeting logistics, action tracking, and support for directorate-wide events. A key part of the remit is information and correspondence management, including shared mailbox triage for regulatory and stakeholder communications, plus structured minute taking and action logging for technical and regulatory forums. You'll also lead on purchasing and cost control admin, and own the Directorate's Lighthouse site and document governance, ensuring content is accurate, controlled and compliant (including H&S and GDPR).
